About me
When I was young, I did not mesh well with people, I spent most of the time in the resource room, since I couldn’t read write or add at the time
I preferred to interact with adults and spent countless hours building Legos, taking apart and fixing various things

I loved listening to my dad’s zenith tube radio music and I hated dealing with LPs

In the early 90’s, when I was working with adults with disabilities, I discovered MJ Magazine and Sound Practices at Tower Records

I really enjoyed the artistic wiring of the Japanese Tube amps and simplicity of Single ended

Through Audiomart, I met Jon Baier and Bill Petrowski, they helped me out quite a bit
I contacted Mike Lafevre at Magnequest, and bought a pair of FS-030 and built a 300b amp with a 6sj7 driver

I signed up for Ebay deepgroove1 in 1998, over 20+ years I have sold thousands of different products audio accessories, cnc controllers motors, cnc mills, lathes and routers since 1998, back when Ebay
was kinder and gentler you could make a lot of money
I also sold trade in tt on ebay for Basis Audio A.J. Conti at would move his 1400 series table trade ins through me
Mike Lafevre also loved his hobbies, I sold off quite a few ¼ rc cars for him, tube amps and he also had me sell off most of his dead stock Brooklyn Transformer Line, that were not moving, plus quite a few overseas customers had me ship transformers to them

In addition to all the above, I taught children with autism in 2003 aba based on behavioral pattens which I understood since we cant intuit what another person thinks or feels

Since then, I have been scratch building tube amps on and off for 30 years, I am always learning and love many different flavors of sound various topographies of different configurations, In short, I can’t say there is a favorite amp or configuration

For me I really enjoy see the work of so many talented builders in the community it has been a pleasure
In 2016 I designed our own circuit board and enclosure for the famous intact audio auto-formers, since I traded quite a few cnc machines to Dave slagle for product


In 2015 the private school I was teaching at closed, Ebay slowed way down and I currently enjoy my life, building audio gear

FYI I am currently running 3 systems, I love music and I just returned to vinyl with a lot of gear that I have squirreled away
